09:20 am: For those that may be interested
I'm a bit of a weather geek and this weekend is going to prove interesting, so I thought I'd post a little insight. Don't read if this bores you.

The current forecast for Saturday is abit deceptive. 60% chance of Showers, high of 64 degrees. What it doesn't state is that there will be short periods of intense rains and overall we're going to get between 1 to 2 inches of rain total. That means potential flash flooding during those bursts. The wind is also going to intensify as Ernesto mingles with a high pressure system centralized over Maine right now. Generally 15-20 mph winds with gusts up to 30 as the two systems merge over the CT valley. (Ok, that was extreme geek-ness)

For the normals: Bottom-line is very windy and rainy and cool. Not a good day to be outdoors. And Sunday isn't looking any better. 40% chance of showers, a little warmer at 71 degrees, but the potential of showers throughout the day and night. Definitely not going to dry up until late Sunday into Monday.

01:04 pm: Testing this Broadcast System
So, based on not understanding it and avoiding it for so long, I think I hate this thing. Its a world I chose to be excluded from in order to give Josh the privacy. I figured I vent to my girls therefore he should have LJ to vent about me if and when he felt the need to. But circumstances as of late have changed that. I have realized that information from this forum was never reaching me. And I feel a lot of different emotions about that fact, so I'm not going to get into it. Let's just say, I'm taking responsibility for the part I played and getting on LJ. So, here I am! A little bruised, but here and trying to be receptive.

Like every diary, of the million that I've started and never kept up, I'm fighting the urge to put the last 27 years into this entry. Just today...

Today, I'm dragging my ass through a ridiculously boring day with very little work to do considering the impending holiday. I'm also restarting a friendship, that started off on the wrong foot a long time ago, because it's important to me. Thankfully, I've been given a clean slate. But like my lost poetry of many, many years ago I'm staring at a nice clean sheet of paper that I don't want to fuck up.

That refers to something I told a friend once, that there was nothing more beautiful than a clean piece of paper because of the possibilities and because I haven't fucked it up yet. Thinking back on it, I was a coward. I still have my appreciation for art. I just lost the drive to create it myself other than acting through LARP. I guess this could be considered a smack on the back of the head by karma. The second, in fact, Josh mentioned a couple of weeks ago I should start writing again. So, no promises. I wouldn't say the creative juices are flowing. Right now, I'm just poking at them and seeing whether they're still talking to me.

Going back to my day: One of my co-workers just told me that he is jumping ship in a month. No one knows including my boss. Those that have heard me talk about work before know what this means; a lot of complaining that I don't want to hear from my other sales reps, extra work, and extra stress. Opportunity too though, the rep used to be the apple of my supervisor's eye and he got pretty arrogant about it too. Now, there will be more room for the rest of us to shine.

Staying open-minded.
